History of 3rd Streetsville

The 3rd Streetsville Scouting group was founded in 1959 and has always been a strong group in the Streetsville area.  For over 50 years we have provided a quality Scouting program focused on the outdoors and challenging youth to learn outdoor skills.

Over the years the group has had sections in Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers.  The leadership of these sections has over 250 years of combined experience in Scouting!

The group provides back to the community annually planting trees in Mississauga, cleaning up Mullet Creek, and participating in the Bread and Honey parade and festival.

Our sponsor, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church has given continuous support since 1959.  The church provides a place for us to meet and store our camping and meeting equipment.
